The good bloggers at Gizmodo are reporting from MacWorld 2008 this week and they covered Steve Job's newest toy for us all - the MacBook Air.
Advertised as "ultraslim, ultralight, and ultra unlike anythng else" I wonder if Steve's played with my favrite laptop - the Sony TZ which according to the SizeModo scale comparison, has more features and is even smaller than the new white Apple.

I've come across a whole string of webites to review when pondering the purchase of a Sony TZ laptop
Starting with Dynamism's latest update to the TZ line (which is where I oredered mine)
Sony has also updated the product line - offering the combo SSD/HD model as well (note prior to previous thoughts I've heard rumors of problems with the internal Sprint card vs. the external)
And Gizmodo has a clip of the difference in speed between the SSD and HD drives.
A longer review is forthcoming...

SonyStyle just added this virtual 360 degree tour of my favorite website.
My preferred configuration is the SSD and Harddrive combination - with Windows Vista running on the SSD and your data on the harddrive - my machine run's circles around other non SSD machines.
I've heard from other users that the built in Sprint connection has similar issues as he older Sony TX models did - in switching between Sprint and WIFI - so with this model, I stuck with the cardbus sprint card - and I've never been happier!
